We continue to be smitten with mosaic knitting and this workshop will help you pickup this technique and start a shawl that is knit from tip to tip. Honestly, make it any size you want. Designed for sport weight yarn but you can use whatever you have - it simply takes two contrasting colors (if your colors are too similar the pattern is lost). If you are wary of using charts, this workshop will also help you gain a bit more confidence with charted patterns.

Limited to 5 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.

• Level:  advanced beginner/intermediate - you are not a complete beginner because you have taken Knitting Basics, Knitting II, and probably something else that involves confidently knitting and purling.
• We provide:  moral support and expertise.
• You bring:  yourself, a copy of the pattern, a stitch marker, needle to achieve gauge (per Amy Christoffers: Gauge isn’t critical, prioritize choosing a needle that produces a nice fabric with your chosen yarn. Mosaic knitting will tend to draw in the stitch gauge. Consider choosing a needle a size larger than you might typically use for your yarn so the fabric will have some drape.), and really any sport/dk weight yarn.
