This stylized sardine is knitted in the round from nose to tail, with minimum seaming (at the nose end) and just a few ends to weave in. Another wonderful gift for the cat in your life. Don't have a cat - this is your sign that you should get a cat. This project can be knit in one color, two colors, striped, marled... you name it. The project is your oyster or something like that. Limited to 5 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.

• Level:  adventurous beginner/intermediate - you've successfully completed Knitting Basics and Knitting II.
  
• We provide:  Plenty of space, stuffing, buttons/black floss/yarn for eyes, cat nip!and encouragement.
• You bring:  yourself, a copy of the sardine pattern, approximately 60 yards of worsted weight yarn in one or two colors. Size US4 and 6 needles or whatever you need to create a dense fabric, and a tapestry needle. (Gauge is not crucial to this project but will affect the size and the amount of yarn used and ultimately your fish will look better if its stuffing isn't visible.)
