A gentle drawstring trouser with side pockets and a false fly, cut to sit on the waist. Features 3 versions – cropped & tapered trouser, wide straight trouser or shorts.

Skill level: Beginner

This is a multi-size paper pattern in an envelope, including sizes either 8-18 or 20-28. Seam allowances are 1.5cm and are included in the pattern.

Recommended Fabric:
Linen, soft cottons, fine wool, wool crepe, washed silk or rayon. Choose fabrics that drape and won’t bulk around the drawstring waist.

Notions:

• 2M (sizes 8-18) and 2.5M (size 20-28) of 13mm/0.5" cotton webbing for the drawstring
• 2 x small eyelets (optional eyelet or buttonhole for drawstring.)
• 13mm/0.5" elastic, your waist measurement plus overlap (optional)
